Ron Owen, age 72 of Guthrie, OK died peacefully on Feb. 12, 2020. Ron was born on Feb. 3, 1948 to Frank and Mary Louise Owen in Austin, Texas.
Ron was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife Anita (Plummer) Owen who he married on Dec. 22, 2014, two devoted sons, Keith (wife Erin and granddaughters Adison and Brynn) of Spring, TX and Todd (wife Jill) of Canton, TX and sister Stephanie Jacob of Grand Prairie, TX.
Ron worked as a manager for IBM for 35 years. Ron enjoyed his dog Scooter, classic cars and watching sports. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to First Christian Church of Guthrie or the Guthrie Animal Shelter.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, Feb. 15, 2020 at 1:00 pm at the First Christian Church, Guthrie, OK.
