Lynn M. Meyer, 54, Lena passed away unexpectedly Tuesday Feb 11, 2020 at a local hospital following a short illness. She was born Apr 6, 1965 in Marinette to Willard and Marion (Marquardt) Hanneman. Lynn earned her Bachelor degree in Sociology from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. On Oct 12, 1991, Lynn was united in marriage to Patrick Meyer at St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Pound. Lynn was employed as a social worker for Bellin Home Health and Unity Hospice for many years. She was a member of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church in Oconto Falls. Lynn enjoyed, cooking, canning, and going to farmer’s markets and spending time with her family and her “puppies”.
Lynn is survived by her husband, Patrick; two children, Bethany Meyer, Matthew Meyer; a step daughter, Crystal (Nick) Klug; two step grandchildren, Hillel and Floyd; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Brian (Laura) Hanneman, Bruce (Lisa) Hanneman; many other relatives and friends.
Lynn was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.
Friends may call at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, 301 S. Chestnut St, Oconto Falls, on Saturday Feb 15, 2020 from 9 until 11 a.m. The funeral service will be held at the church on Saturday at 11 a.m. with the Rev Matthew Arnold officiating. Burial will be in St Matthew Cemetery in Pound.
