Judith A. Bailey, 64, of Monticello, Iowa died Sunday, October 2, 2011 at her home surrounded by family after a 14 year battle with cancer. Friends may call from 4 until 8 p.m. Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at Kramer Funeral Home in Monticello, Iowa. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday October 5, 2011 at Greeley United Methodist Church, Greeley, Iowa with burial in Bolsinger cemetery, rural Colesburg, Iowa. Officiating will be Pastor Ruth Tibbott. Survivors include her husband, Ron of Monticello, 4 children, Peggy Bailey and Tracy Sproston of Monticello, Mathew (Paula) Bailey of Greeley and Tammy (Sonny) Gipe of Alburnet. Judy is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, 1 brother, James (Karen) Reiners of Waterloo and 2 sisters-in-law, Mary Helm and Donna Bailey both of Waterloo. Judy was preceded in death by her parents and son, Steven Wayne Bailey. Judy was born on November 26, 1946 in Waterloo, Iowa, the daughter of Louis and Anna Brinkman Reiners. She married Ron Bailey on April 4, 1964 in Waterloo, Iowa. Judy loved to go camping but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Memorials are preferred.
