Barbara was born on July 15, 1938 to Walter and Emma (Joretta) Keirns, of Millfield, Ohio. She was the oldest of 6 children (Tommy, Beverly, Ervin, Lucy, and Denver). She met her sweetheart in 1957 at the Berry Hotel where she worked. Barbara married Jesse E. Griffith on September 14,1957. Barbara is survived by her 7 children (Barbara (Marie), Brenda, Gregory, Becky, Gary, Patricia and Michael), 22 Grandchildren, 24 Great Grandchildren, and 1 Great-Great Grandchild. Barbara and Jesse have created a great family legacy full of love. The love Barbara and Jesse had for each other was a strong bond of 59 years.
Barbara was baptized in the Church of Jesus Christ Of Latter-day Saints on 03/04/1962. Her love for her Heavenly Father was the greatest gift and example she gave to her family and all those who knew her. Barbara found so much joy while serving as a visiting teacher and serving in Relief Society Presidency. She was an example to her family through her prayer and reading the scriptures. Barbara worked for GTE for more than 25 years. She was the best role model to those around her always full of love, integrity, honesty, and a humble and kind spirit.
