Nancy “Sue” Bearden, age 77, of Acworth, Georgia passed away on Sunday morning, April 10, 2016 at her residence. She was born July 20, 1938 in Coweta County, Georgia, the daughter of the late Starling Gaddy and the late Mary Lou Tidwell Gaddy. She formerly worked for BBI in Bowden. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Clyde Bearden; sister, Eula Mae Gaddy; and two brothers: Ed Gaddy and Walt Gaddy. Survivors include her children: Faron Hammond of Hogansville, Georgia, Lynn Hammond of LaGrange, Georgia, Alan & Angel Hammond of Bowdon, Georgia, Gene & Jessica Morgan of Tallapoosa, Georgia, and Sandy Bryant & Chris Hickman of Swainsboro, Georgia; eighteen grandchildren; and thirty-four great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, April 13, 2016 from Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel with Rev. Wayne Brown officiating. Those serving as pallbearers will be Brett Taylor, Tyler Olmstead, Avery Brown, Dakota Morgan, Steven Fordham, and Spencer Fordham. Interment will follow in Liberty Christian Church Cemetery in Temple.
