Lonnie “Jerry” Moore, 60, widower of the late Carol Sue Moore, passed away, February 11, 2020, surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Anderson, SC, he was the son of the late James Robert and Dora Lee Barrett Moore. Mr. Moore was a United States Army Veteran and retired from Textron in Lavonia, GA. Jerry enjoyed spending time with his grandchild, Hayden, his favorite hobby was reading Star Wars, he loved History, and was of the Baptist Faith.
Jerry is survived by his daughter, Katrina “Trina” McGuffin (Andy) of Westminster; sisters, Bonnie Addis of Seneca and Marie Tutwiller of NC; and one grandchild, Hayden McGuffin.
In addition to his wife and parents, he is preceded in death by brothers, James “Bud” Moore, John Moore, Keith Moore; sister, Ruth McLendon; and one granddaughter, Emilee McGuffin.
A Graveside Service will be held 2:30 pm, Saturday, February 15, 2020 at Heritage Memorial Gardens.
