She was a member of the Mount Zion Church of God in Christ in Fayette. Catherine worked briefly in the healthcare field and later was the caregiver of her family.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her loving husband, Marcus Young of Fayette; goddaughter, Tyteyunna Hill; three brothers, Carl Conway and John Gibson of Atlanta, GA and Terry Hill of Lancaster, TX; one sister, Rita Thomas of Houston, TX, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
