Before she was born, Clementine's family lived in Montreal, Canada. They came to the United States in 1847 and settled in St. Louis, Missouri. They ran a boarding house there in 1850, and then moved to Lincoln County, Missouri.
Clementine married Dr. Charles Augustus "Gus" Thomasson on 08 Nov 1877 in Lincoln County. He was a dentist, and they were the parents of 3 children.
Gus died in 1890 at the age of 36.
Clementine raised the children in St. Louis. She was a member of the Mount Moriah Temple, Chapter No. 6, Order of the Eastern Star. She also belonged to Wisdom Council No. 710, Security Benefit Association.
She shared a home with her daughter, Pauline, and son-in-law for many years until she passed away.
Clementine died at her home 4 days after suffering a cerebral hemorrhage. At the time of her death, she was 65 years, 10 months and 19 days old.
She was survived by 1 daughter, Pauline Wagener; her grandchildren; and 1 sister, Pauline Aderton of Jerseyville, Illinois.
In addition to her husband, Clementine was preceded in death by her mother and father; 2 sons, Charles Thomasson and Leo Thomasson; 2 brothers; and 4 sisters.
Funeral services were conducted at the family home on Ashland Avenue in St. Louis at 7:30 p.m. on the evening of 06 Oct 1924. Graveside services took place in Winfield, Missouri at 2 p.m. on the afternoon of 07 Oct 1924.
