Lucy Elizabeth Brown, age 86 of Caneyville, passed away Monday, February 10th 2020 at Signature Healthcare of Hartford. She was born September 23rd 1933 in Breckinridge County, KY, the daughter of Gilbert & Myrtle Carman Armes.

She was a member of the Southside Christian Center and Mother of Simple, Prayer, & Faith Fellowship.

She is survived by her daughter, Anna Frances Cummings and her son-in-law Bro. Daren Cummings.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, John D. “Buddy” Brown and her brother, Hardin G. Armes.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday (Feb 15) at the Caneyville Memorial Chapel. Burial will be in the Rabbit Flat General Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m., Friday and from 9:00 a.m. until service time on Saturday at the funeral home. Caneyville Memorial Chapel is both honored and privileged to be entrusted with the care of Mrs. Brown.
