Mrs. Carrie M. Stivison, 79, of 314 Warm Springs Avenue, died Wednesday at a Boise nursing home after a long illness.
Born July 3, 1888, in Dalton City, Ill., she came to Boise in 1921 from Findlay, Ill. She married Bert R. Stivison at Dalton City on Dec. 3, 1911. Her husband was employed by the Veterans Administration as a cabinet maker until his retirement in 1953. He died in 1962. She was a member of the First Methodist Church.
Survivors include a son, Homer Stivison of Boise; two daughters, Mrs. R. W. Simmons of Boise and Mrs. Joe McKinney of Gooding; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Friday at Gibson Chapel by the Rev. Meredith R. Groves. Interment will follow at Cloverdale Memorial Park.
