James Douglas Bourne, 93, Springfield, TN, died Saturday, June 26, 2004, at Gateway Medical Center. The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at St. Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church, with the Rev. Merritt Lewis Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Foston Funeral Home, with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m. He was born Sept. 3, 1910, in Montgomery County, Tennessee, the son of Ed and Lena Johnson Bourne. He was the widower of Ocie Andrew Bourne. Mr. Bourne was a former employee of Conwood Tobacco Company, a member of St. Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church and a U.S. Army veteran.
