Gary S. Burton, 82, of Westwood, husband of Helen Kiser Burton, died peacefully Tuesday morning, February 11th, at Woodland Oaks Health Care Facility. Gary was born March 11, 1937 in West Virginia a son of the late Howard and Josephine Adkins Burton. He was a retired welder from National Mines and a member of the Cannonsburg Church of Christ. He was preceded in death, in addition to his parents, by a brother; Kyle Bruce Burton. Surviving, in addition to his wife, include 3 daughters; Cheryl Gambill, and husband John, of Westwood, Melissa Queen, and husband Chuck, of Frankfort, and Pam Bowling, and husband Randy, of Westwood. A half brother; Eddie Burton, a half sister; Trecia Ashley, 2 step brothers; Hobert and Jim Estep, 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. A committal service will be Thursday at 12:00 PM at Rose Hill Burial Park Mausoleum Chapel. Arrangements are under the direction of PRESTON FAMILY FUNERAL HOME.
