Raymond Gilbert Watkins, age 89, of Combs, Arkansas died Friday, February 7, 2020 in Springdale.

He was born on June 18, 1930 in Japton, Arkansas to Thomas J. and Mae (Parsley) Watkins.

Raymond was a carpenter and farmer.

He loved coon hunting, fishing, gardening, and was an avid Arkansas Razorback fan. He was a devoted grandpa and hero to his grand and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Faye Vera (Bolinger) Watkins; his daughter, Donna Watkins; four brothers, Bill Lee Watkins, Fred Ralph Watkins, Carl Henry Watkins, and Kermit Claude Watkins; and six sisters, Ruby Reynolds, Oma Clark, Dovie Reynolds, Stella J. Lewis, Rema Manley, and Bonnie Lee Thomas.

Survivors include three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

A private service will be held at a later date.

Arrangements are by Westfield Chapel, Springdale.
