Obituary for Delores Ruth Jackson
Delores Jackson passed away on February 9th, 2020 in El Reno OK surrounded by her loving family.
Delores was born in Shawnee Ok, the daughter of Clay and Marie Foresee. Delores grew up in Wewoka OK, graduated Wewoka high school and attended one year of college at Oklahoma School for Women in Chickasha. She worked at Hutchison Jewelers. Delores married Caleb James (CJ) Jackson Jr. May 2nd 1948. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother to her family. She will be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched.
Delores was preceded in death by her parents, husband, eldest son, brother and great granddaughter.
She is survived by her daughter Marsha Nichols and her husband Dave. Her son David Jackson, her daughter Ann Jackson and her spouse Joyce Riolo; five grandchildren Brad Jackson, Lori Alkhalid, Amanda Nichols, Hala Jackson and Clay Jackson; six great grandchildren Madison Nichols, Jacob Nichols, Caleb Jackson, Asher Clawson, Miles Jackson and Jonah Jackson.
A funeral service to honor and celebrate the life of Delores will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, February 13, 2020 at Wesley United Methodist Church with Rev. Allen Carson officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Wewoka Cemetery.
Viewing will be held at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 12th. Services are under the direction of Wilson Funeral Home.
