He was a former factory worker and member of the Rector General Baptist Church.
He is survived by his mother, Willow Dean Wheeler of Paragould; two sons and daughter-in-law, Nathan and Shawna Wheeler and Adam Wheeler, all of Rector; Three brothers, Dennis Wheeler of Rector, Bruce Wheeler of Jonesboro, and and Scott Wheeler of Paragould; two sisters, Deborah Rogers of Pocahontas, and Belinda Foster of Poplar Bluff, Missouri.
He was preceded in death by his father, J. E. Wheeler, and one brother, Ronald Wheeler.
Arrangments were by: Mitchell Funeral Home of Rector. Private funeral services were held.
