He was born Monday, January 24, 1944 in Baxter, Tennessee to the late Lawrence Clifford Moss and Ruby Maxwell Moss.
He loved to farm, and everyone knew him for his "green thumb" in the garden.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Brenda Moss; 2 sons, Jason C. Moss and his wife, Jamie and Patrick Moss and his wife, Suzie, all of Cookeville; 6 grandchildren, Kori Moss, Ethan Moss, Emily Moss, Colton Elrod, Brittany Tollet, and Camdyn Tollet; great-grandson, Lincoln Charles Bean; brother, Dewey E. Moss and his wife Daisy of Baxter, Tennessee; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Thursday, February 13th, 2020 at 1:00 PM at Presley Funeral Home with Pastor Gary Norton officiating. Interment followed in Crest Lawn Memorial.
