Beverly Malone-Harrison, age 59, was born in Lawrenceville on May 14, 1960. She died suddenly from a heart attack on February 9, 2020. She was preceded in death by her husband of 20 years, Dennis Chris Malone, and parents, Alfred and Jean Burnette, and mothers-in-law, Shirley Harrison and Peggy Malone, brothers-in-law, Mike Cleghorn and Kirk Malone.
Surviving is her loving husband of 14 years, Scott Harrison and her sons, Matthew Davis Malone of Loganville and Matthew Harrison of Covington and daughter, Nicole (Kristofer) Killian of Hoschton. Beverly was a doting BeBe to her three grandsons, Zakariah, Hollis and Solomon Killian of Hoschton. She is also survived by her Fathers-in-law, Thomas L. (Bill) Harrison of Loganville, Norman Malone of Lilburn; Loving sisters, Betty (Terry) Myers, Barbara Cleghorn, both from Loganville; Brothers and sisters-in-law, David (Ann) Harrison of Loganville, Keith (Anita) Malone of Johns Creek, Kim (Terri) Malone of Lawrenceville, Kevin (Lisa) Malone of Lilburn, Kelly Malone of Lilburn; Aunt, Honor Kitchens of Woodstock and uncle, Ray (Beulah) Lockridge of Lawrenceville; Nieces and nephews, Tara (Kret) Wilkes of Kennesaw, Amy Howell of Loganville, Jason (Laura) Cleghorn and Dustin Cleghorn of Loganville. Several other nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews and cousins also survive. She is also survived by the dedicated employees of her company, Georgia Community Management Inc. Beverly was employed by BellSouth for approximately 25 years before retiring and opening her own business in 2006. Starting from a dream, Beverly's creation, Georgia Community Management, Inc., has grown into a thriving property management company currently serving over 300 communities and spanning three states, Georgia, South Carolina and Tennessee. With the help of its 40 dedicated employees, GCM has now expanded into five offices throughout Georgia, with the home office in Loganville now occupying three buildings. Beverly had a real vision for helping people and this vision could not be any more demonstrated than it is through her esteemed and respected company. Beverly always sought God's guidance in conducting her business and as a result realized much success and enjoyment in fulfilling her dream. She always put others first, wanting to help all she could even until her last moments. Beverly will be missed by many. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, February 12, 2020 in the Loganville Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home. Rev. Adam Herrington will officiate. Interment will follow at Eternal Hills Memory Gardens in Snellville.
