Addison H. "Buster" Sheppard, 90, of 29th St., Vienna, died Sept. 26 at The Willows.
He was born in Wirt County, a son of the late Albert J. and Grace Nuzum Sheppard. He retired in 1972 from the former FMC Corp. and attended Wayside United Methodist Church, Vienna.
He is survived by two daughters, Onalee Kieffer and Eleanor Six, both of Vienna; one son, Clair E. Sheppard of Garden City, S.C.; two sisters, Roxie Enoch of Avon Park, Fla., and Pearl Peck of Akron; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife Beulah F. Showalter Sheppard; two brothers; one sister; two half brothers; and one half sister.
Services will be today, Oct. 1, at 2 p.m. at the Vaughan Funeral Home, Parkersburg, with the Revs. Joseph S. Kenaston and Jay Six officiating. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday.
