COLUMBIA--Services for Ryan A. Brooks, 19, of Columbia, will be held at 2pm Saturday in the Chapel of Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington, officiated by Dr. Harry Rowland. Burial will follow at Bush River Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6-8pm Friday at the funeral home. Mr. Brooks died Wednesday, December 01, 2004. Born in Columbia, he was the son of Jay A. and Linda Horton Brooks. A lifelong area resident, he was a 2003 graduate of Irmo High School and was employed with Lexington Country Club. Surviving, in addition to his parents of Columbia, are his sister, Sara Brooks and his brother, Eric Brooks, both of Columbia; maternal grandparents, Fred and Ruth Horton of Beaufort; paternal grandparents, Robert and Antoinette Brooks of Gloversville, NY. www.thompsonsfuneral.com
