Carol had a love for music and dancing. She enjoyed shopping and baby dolls and her favorite food was fried chicken and Pepsi.
She is survived by three siblings, Cindy Hilkemeyer (Rick) of Freeburg, Joe Helton (Brenda) of Iberia, and Bill Helton (Sharon) of Iberia; brothers-in-law, Gary Rowden and Jeff Gladden; aunt, Leona Hogue; uncles, Wilburn Rowden and Doyle Hogue; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends; and her extended family at Missouri Mentors.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by three sisters, Debbie Rowden, Judy Malone, and Sally Gladden, one niece, Stephanie Rowden, and several aunts and uncles.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., with services immediately following at 1 p.m., on Monday, February 17, at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia with Duncan Skiles officiating. Interment will be held in Stokes Cemetery near Meta.
