Michelle is survived by her husband, William (Bill) Bush of Buda, Texas; her step-children, Leila Cole of Venus, Texas, David Bush of Austin, Texas, and Joshua Bush of Austin, Texas. Michelle has lived in Austin, Texas since 1963, and graduated from the Texas School for the Deaf. She went on to attend Lamar University for 2 years. She returned back to Austin where she worked as a house parent for the Texas School for the Deaf for a few years. After that she worked in retail until she succumbed to cancer.

Anyone that ever met or knew Michelle knew she had a passion to talk. She could spend hours talking to anyone that would listen. And if she didn’t have a human audience she would talk to animals. She had an ability to have wildlife trust in in her to the point they would show up every day to just hang out around her. She also loved to watch the longhorn football games, go camping and fishing, and she loved to work in her garden. She had a nature green thumb and could grow just about anything.

Michelle’s other passion was her love and dedication for her church and her commitment to serve. She served as one of the leaders of the Austin Spirit of Life Deaf Church.

Michelle will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
