STEPHENSON - Barbara A. (Mottern), 66, Johnstown, passed away February 8, 2020 at Laurel View Village, Davidsville. Born April 7, 1953 in Johnstown. Daughter of D. Quay and Betty M. (Janisak) Mottern. Preceded in death by her mother; husband of 35 years Lester L. Stephenson October 1, 2019, and brothers Daniel R. and Jeffrey M. Mottern. Survived by father, Davidsville; brother Dr. Richard M. Mottern and wife Nina, Rochester, NY; sisters Susan E. married to Dick Peters, St. Paul, MN and Kathleen B. Mottern, Laurel, MD and numerous nieces, nephews and in-laws. Barbara was a 1971 graduate of Richland High School and a graduate of Lee Hospital School of Radiology Technology. She was an X-ray and MRI Technician early in her career. Along with her husband Les, was a former co-owner of Pomroy's Short Stop, Windber. She and Les also enjoyed vacationing at the beach. She was a devoted wife, an avid Pittsburgh Pirates baseball fan and an excellent seamstress. Viewing from 6-8PM Tuesday at Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 109 Church Road, Davidsville where a service will be held 10AM Wednesday with Pastor Wes Yoder presiding.
