Services for Arthur L. Kennedy, 95, formerly of RD1 Landisburg, will be held at 11 a.m. today in St. Peter's United Church of Christ, Landisburg.
He died Monday in Thornwald Nursing Home, Carlisle.
Born Aug. 10, 1895, in RD1 Landisburg, he was a son of the late Frank and Elizabeth Waggoner Kennedy. He was retired from the former Federal Equipment and the former Ribbon Mill and was a former employee of Masland Industries, all of Carlisle. He was also a self-employed rug weaver. He was a member and former deacon and Sunday School teacher at St. Peter's United Church of Christ, Landisburg. He was an Army veteran of World War I.
Surviving are his wife, Ruth J. Kline Kennedy; one daughter, Martha L. Toner of Mt. Holly Springs; one son, A. Lee Kennedy of RD1 Landisburg; four sisters, Edna Hair and Martha Grenoble, both of New Bloomfield, Evelyn Rock of RD1 New Bloomfield and Jean Black of Bethlehem; eight grandchildren: and 16 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service today at the church.
The Rev. E. Levain Fouse will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
