M'COMB, Dec. 24 -- The funeral of William H. Wilkinson was held from the home of his son, Wiley M. Wilkinson, in McComb, with interment in Hollywood cemetery. The services were conducted by Dr. J. W. Mayfield, pastor of the First Baptist church of McComb, assisted by Rev. L. L. Roberts, pastor of Centenary Methodist church, and Rev. H. L. Carter, pastor of Central Baptist church. Mr. Wilkinson was a Confederate veteran, 82 years of age, and had been a leader in all movements for the betterment of conditions for Confederate veterans.
He is survived by three sons of McComb, J. E. Wilkinson, Willie Wilkinson and Wiley M. Wilkinson; and one sister and four brothers.
