TV Talk Show Host. He was best known for his NBC late night program "The Tomorrow Show with Tom Snyder", which aired from 1973 to 1982. Snyder's brash, chain-smoking interview style was memorably spoofed by comedian Dan Aykroyd in the early years of "Saturday Night Live". His program was canceled in 1982 to make way for rising star David Letterman. Snyder would later host CBS's "The Late Late Show from 1995 to 1998. He was also a news anchor in Philadelphia, New York City and Los Angeles.
