Shirley Ann Bowers (nee Chandler), of St. Charles, MO, passed away Wednesday, February 5, 2020 at the age of 83. Loving wife of Glenn A. Bowers; beloved daughter of the late Frank and Emma Chandler; devoted mother of Glenda (Shelby) Hagen and Debra Hesterberg; cherished grandmother of Laura Hagen, Daniel Hagen, Scott (Denise) Hesterberg, Katherine Hesterberg, and Mark Hesterberg; dear sister of Frank Chandler. Shirley is also preceded in death by her brother, Robert Chandler; and son-in-law, Jamie Hesterberg.

Shirley was a member of the embroidery club at Jackmans, ASG American Sewing Guild, and a member of Dardenne Presbyterian Church. She was very involved at church with the bible study and the Presbyterian Women's Circle. In her free time Shirley enjoyed square dancing, and she was quite a gifted seamstress and loved to quilt and sew. Shirley was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
