April 26, 1931 - February 7, 2020 Imogene Smith, age 88, of Somerset, KY, passed away on Friday, February 7, 2020 at Hospice of Lake Cumberland Jean Waddle Care Center.

Imogene was born on April 26, 1931 in Somerset, KY to the late Taylor Ward and Edna Hardwick Ward. She was a member of Duke Memorial Baptist Church. She was also a member of the Bluegrass Tolers Decorative Artists chapter. Imogene liked to paint, cook, fish and loved her cats and dogs. She enjoyed family gatherings and especially loved spending time with her grandkids and great grandkids.

She is survived by one son, Richard Smith of Somerset; one daughter, Mary Glen Tucker of Somerset; one brother, Johnny Ward of Somerset; three sisters, Anna Wesley, Glenda (and Joel) Spaw and Patricia Oakes all of Somerset; four grandchildren, Angela (and Marty) Flynn, Carrie (and Bryan) Sanders, Dustin Richard Smith and Rachel (and Calvin) Crouse; her great grandchildren, Mackenzie, Hunter, Fisher and Ashyr Beth Flynn; Masi and Jaydon Sanders; Parker, Cara and Holland Crouse; and her step- great grandchildren, Kelsey Vanhook, Whitney Litton, Sydney Perkins and Andy Vanhook.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Glen Smith; one great grandson, Mason Glen Crouse; one sister, Peggy Vaught; and two brothers, Ben Ward and Billy Ward.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, February 12, 2020 from 12:00pm until 2:00pm at Lake Cumberland Funeral Home.

Her funeral service will follow on Wednesday at 2:00pm at the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Randy Smith and Bro. Mark Purcell officiating. Burial will be at Lakeside Memorial Gardens.
