She was preceded in death by her parents, Hal and Yvonne Royse Keeton, Sr.; and husband, Charles Joseph Higgins, Sr.

She is survived by her children, Charles Joseph Higgins, Jr. (Leslie) and Amanda Kay Higgins; grandchild, Shelby Matthews; and siblings, Hal Keeton, Jr. (debbie), Claudette Simmons; and Lowell Keeton (Amanda).

Her funeral is 1pm Wednesday at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road with burial in Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation is 1-8pm Tuesday.
