Mr. Ralph Emerson Jackson, Sr. of Carrollton, Georgia passed away on Friday, February 7, 2020 at Wellstar Community Hospice in Austell, Georgia.

Ralph was born in Douglasville, Georgia on February 2, 1942 the son of the late Claude V. Jackson, Sr. and Retha Pepper Jackson.

He was a trucker by trade. Ralph was Pentecostal by faith and a member of New Beginnings Church of God in Carrollton, Georgia. He enjoyed several hobbies to include baseball, driving, motorcycles and trips to the beach. Ralph was a Veteran having served our country in the United States Army.

He is survived by his wife, Melinda Stogsdill Jackson of thirty one years, children, Kimberly Cochran, Connie Penner, Penny McGahen, Texas, Butch Jackson, Winston, Joey Jackson, Carrollton, Chris Jackson, Douglasville, Kevin Jackson, Statham, Georgia; brother, Claude Jackson, Jr., North Carolina. Ten grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren also survive.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Mishelle Jackson and brother, Norman Jackson.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2020 at New Beginnings Church of God, 2:00 p.m.
