Mrs. Vida (Albert) Sulzer, 82 of rural Fennimore, a retired telephone operator, died Thursday, Feb. 5, in a Dubuque hospital. Funeral services were held Saturday at the Larson Funeral Home. Pastor David L. Fuller officiating. Mrs. Sulzer was a telephone operator for many years, employed at the local exchange by the Fennimore Telephone Co. She was born, Nov. 12, 1898 in Mt. Ida township, daughter of David and Sarah (Lance) Farris. She married Albert Sulzer, June 1, 1946. Surviving are her husband; a sister, Mrs. Cora Kienzler, Fennimore; a nephew, Kyle Farris, Minong; a niece, Mrs. Betty Mezara, Eau Claire and a sister-in-law, Mrs. Vi Farris, Shawno. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Walter, Harry and David.
