Ray peacefully passed away Sept. 7, 2015 at Franciscan Hospice House in University Place, WA. He was born June 27, 1935 in Chippewa Falls, WI to Daniel and Anna Wright. They moved to the NW when Ray was 10, and he later graduated from Highline High School. He owned and operated Wright Marine LLC for over 40 years. His passion was being an evangelist, and traveled to England & Africa to spread the message. Much of his time was spent in Ghana, West Africa with his interpreter and adopted son, Rev. Dr. Maxwell. His final trip was for 2-1/2 months in 2014, where he was presented with an Honorary Doctorate of Divinity from Faith University Seminary. He was also an active member of Lifespring Foursquare Church in Edgewood. Ray is survived to his wife of 37 years, Roberta (Bobbie) Wright of Federal Way, children Shawn Wright, Michele Dehart, John Wright & Lorna Hunter, 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, a brother, two sisters, and many nieces, nephews and beloved friends. Memorial Services will be held Friday, Sept 18, 2015 at 1pm at Twin Cedars Clubhouse, 37301 28th Ave S, Federal Way 98003.
