Delton Gene Peacock was born June 24, 1938 in the Huffstuttle Community, Texas to Charles Milburn Peacock and Ruth Marie Daniels Peacock. He married Glenda Alaine Hobbs in Breckenridge on May 19, 1962. Mr. Peacock worked in the oil field, ranched and served in the United State Army. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Woodson and enjoyed hunting and fishing in his free time. He was preceded in death by his wife; his parents; one sister, Laverne Stoker; two brothers, Lindon Gene Peacock and G.J. Peacock.
Mr. Peacock is survived by his eight children, Tammy Everette and husband John, Tressie Moore and husband Jim, Tina Brewer and husband Charles, James Peacock and wife Aundrea, Amanda Sargent and husband Stan, Linda Hebel and husband Bob, Alaine Sanders and husband Roger, Gayle Brown and husband David; 18 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren.
