At her home in this city, Friday morning September 10th, at 8 o'clock, Mrs. Cora H. Gammill, beloved wife of C. H. Gammill, age 45 years, two months and ten days.

The funeral services took place from the family residence, 318 Minnesota Avenue, Sunday evening, September 12th, at 6 o'clock.

The deceased had been a life long resident of McComb, and was one of the best known and highly esteemed residents of this place.

Death comes as a shock to her family and friends, for while she has been complaining for several weeks past, her condition was not considered serious.

Mrs. Gammill is survived by her husband, C. H. Gammill, and three daughters, Mrs. J. D. Varnell, and Miss Thelma of this place, Mrs. L. J. Owen of Fernwood, and one son, James, who is at Parish Island, S.C. serving in the United States Marine Corps. One sister, Mrs. H. L. Arnold of Memphis, and a brother, Mr. J. A. Hunt of this city, also survive. The family has the sympathy of many friends in this sad loss, and the Enterprise joins those who sorrow with them.
