Michael Wesley “Wes” Tankersley, 32, of Hot Springs, Arkansas, passed away February 3, 2020. He was born March 15, 1987, in Little Rock, to Michael Tankersley and Tonja (Knox) Hubanks. Wes enjoyed making people laugh, had a love for science, and longed to make the world a better place.
Wes was preceded in death by great-grandparents, Rube and Martha Ann Tankersley; grandparents, Donald Tankersley, Bill Knox, and Frances Hubanks.
Survivors include his father, Michael Tankersley; mother, Tonja Hubanks (John); sisters, Tusha Glapion (David), Chasity Polston, Krissy Brown (Fred); aunts, Ronda Hughes (Troy), Sonja Maxwell, Mary Laycook, Renee Smith (Rick), Cindy Calcagno (Paul), Penny Wheeler; uncles, David Hubanks, Donny Tankersley (Patty), Robert Tankersley, Rick Suit, Greg Suit (Christine); grandparents, Vonda Young, Sue McGuire, Pat Burks (Ben); niece and nephews, Karlee Brown, Devin Glapion, Corey Glapion, Braylen Brown; special friend, Teddy Hercek (Kayla) several cousins; and many friends.
Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. Friday at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home with a celebration of Wes’ life immediately following at 2:00 p.m.
