David C. Fields, 64, of West Mansfield, Ohio, passed away Sunday, February 2, 2020, at his residence with his loving family at his side.

David was born in Old Town, Ohio on 12 January 1956, to Arthur and Monica (Daigle) Fields. He was a 1974 graduate of Old Town High School and went on to serve, proudly, for nearly thirty years in the U.S. Army (from 1975 to 2005). Dave also worked in HVAC with Vaughn Industries for many years.

Dave married the former Wendy Faloon in Old Town, Ohio on 12 August 1978; they were looking forward to celebrating their forty-second anniversary this year.

Their union was blessed by the births of three children (one son and two daughters). Dave was a devoted husband, and loving father and grandfather. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He always made sure to take care of his loved ones.

He enjoyed golfing, watched NASCAR and liked to "tinker" in his garage. Dave also enjoyed visiting with people when he worked the Fish Fry at the Conservation Club.

Left to cherish his memory are Dave's wife, Wendy F. Fields, of West Mansfield; their children, David A. (Holly) Fields, of Kenton, Ohio; Kerri (Matt) Everett, of Norridgewok, Ohio and Jenn (Rick) York, of Skowhegan, Ohio; their grandchildren, Alex, Alyssa, Axel, Casey, Chase, Eli, Kade, Lizzie, and Matthew; their great-granddaughter, Mya. Also surviving Dave are his siblings, Kathy (Charlie) Taylor, Steve (Teresa) Fields and Tony "Shorty" (Andrea) Fields, all of West Mansfield; along with numerous nephews and nieces.

PREDECEASED by his parents and brother, Arthur "Skip" Fields (1955-1981, mem #27859986).
