RICKY TAYLOR

September 20, 1955 ~ February 4, 2020


Ricky Taylor, 64, originally of Eagletown, passed away February 4, 2020 in Lindale, TX.


Ricky was born September 20, 1955 to Melvin Grayson and Ava Katherine (Wiley) Taylor.


Ricky was a member of the Westwood Baptist Church in Tyler, TX and had lived in McCurtain County off and on all his life. Ricky enjoyed collecting arrowheads and rocks, fishing, and hunting when he lived here in McCurtain County. He was known as a good artist and enjoyed to painting. Ricky liked woodworking as well before he became ill.


Ricky was preceded in death by his parents; and nephew, Wesley Palmer.


Ricky leaves to cherish his memory his son, Frankie Browning, of Wichita Falls; daughter, Chelena Browning-Carver, of Winter Park, FL;


Sisters, Melissa DeSalle, of Seattle, WA, Pat Palmer and Dwight, of Tyler, and June Poole, of Eagletown;


Four grandchildren; six nephews; seven nieces; special friend, Dawn Cockrell-Taylor, of Winter Park, FL; along with a host of other relatives and many friends.


A Celebration of Life Service will be Sunday, February 9, 2020 at 2:00PM at the Assembly of God Church of Eagletown, with Pastor Keith Ayers officiating.


Burial will follow at the Eagletown Cemetery.


Visitation will be Saturday, February 8, 2020 from 6:00-8:00PM at the Brumley Funeral Home Chapel.
