Don was born on September 23, 1937 in Wewoka, Oklahoma to Ralph Samuel and Beulah May (Clark) Thompson. He and Barbara Ann (Baker) Thompson were married and from their union came four children.
Don had a long and successful sales career with General Electric, retiring after 35 years. He enjoyed nature and loved bird watching, spending time around the dinner table with his family and friends, watching football, reading the newspaper to keep up with the news and attending church.
He will be missed by all who shared in his life.
He is survived by his 4 children, David Thompson and wife Rachael of Winter Garden, Florida, John Thompson and wife Karen of St. Louis, Missouri, Sabrina Scott and husband Chon of Tulsa and Victor Thompson and wife Angelique of Centerton, Arkansas; 12 grandchildren, Robert, Makayla, Rachel, Casey, Andrew, Ethan, Elias, Brandon, Dalton, Aidan, Kayle and Alora; 2 sisters, Melba West of Henryetta, Oklahoma and Barbara Humphrey of Holiday, Florida as well as numerous other relatives and loved ones.
He was preceded in death by his wife Barbara, his parents and brother, Ralph Thompson.
