On February 4, 2020, Lisa Renee Griggs got her wings and is now flying with the angels. She was 49 years old.
Lisa loved her friends and family so much. She was always involved in whatever sport or activity her children were doing. She babysat most of her nieces and nephews, and also countless others. She was a mom to more than just her children but also to her kids’ friends. She was someone you could talk to and she would listen and not judge. She was a wonderful wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, sister, and friend.
Lisa was born on May 9, 1970 in Kettering, Ohio to Minnie Gibson and the late Ronald Gibson. In addition to her father she was preceded in death by her son, Levi Greer.
She is survived by her husband of 24 years, Ron Griggs; her daughter, Tiffany Griggs, and her children, Lyta Percifull, Catherine Percifull, Serenity Percifull, Lilyth Korn, Laiken Anne Korn; her daughter, Cassie Cochran and her husband, Chip Cochran along with their children, Zoey Cochran and James Cochran; her son, Dallas Griggs and his wife, Franke Griggs along with their children, Landen Pierce-Griggs, Easton Hudgel, Nevaeh Griggs, Sarah Griggs, Bently Griggs; and her son Levi’s son, Aaden Greer. Lisa is also survived by her mother, Minnie Gibson; her brothers, Billy Gibson and his wife, Margie Gibson, Robert Gibson, Junior Gibson, numerous nieces and nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until time of service at 11:00 am on Friday, February 14, 2020 at Newcomer Kettering Chapel, 3940 Kettering Blvd. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery, Miamisburg, Ohio.
