Willard J. Boger, Sr.Had Service Station In Danielsville
Willard J. Boger Sr., 89, of 1332 Blue Mountain Drive, Danielsville, died Saturday in Allentown Hospital. He was the husband of L. Pearl Boger. They would have been married 71 years this month.He was a mechanic and proprietor of W.J. Boger's Service Station, Danielsville, for 25 years. Previously, he was proprietor of W.J. Boger's Garage, Allentown, for 48 years.Born in Lower Macungie Township, he was a son of the late John L. and Margaret (Paskor) Boger.He was a member of Grace United Church of Christ, Allentown.Survivors: Wife; sons, Miles J. of Salisbury Township; sons, Willard Jr. of Danielsville and Thomas F. of Allentown; daughters, Virginia Olewine of Bowmanstown, Pearl, wife of Robert C. Heckman of Hudson, Fla. and Renee, wife of Kenneth Wehr of Allentown; brothers, Herbert of Allentown and Ralph in Florida; sister, Minerva, wife of Raymond Meyers of Snydersville; 30 grandchildren, 57 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son, Ernest and four daughters, Marion, Violet, Dorothy and Joanne.Services: 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sell Funeral Home, 1145 Lehigh St., Allentown. Call 7-8:30 p.m. Monday.
