"Pete" was the son of Maurice Donald Sprinkle & Georgeanna Giltner.

He married Elaine Kay LeBoutillier on 11 May 1974, Indianapolis, Marion Co., IN.

His obituary at the Jensen Funeral Home website includes: "He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Elaine Sprinkle; two sons, James (Amy) Sprinkle, and John (Kimberly) Sprinkle; two brothers, Mark (Becky) Sprinkle, Craig Sprinkle; his eight grandchildren, Samuel, Kysten, Annabelle, Joshua, Ella, Ayden, Sophia, and Lucas."
