He was retired from the United States Postal Service in Kensington, Maryland, was a life member of the Disabled American Veterans, was a member of Hornickel Post American Legion #379 in Elizabeth, Indiana and was a veteran of the United States Army and the United States Air Force.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his sisters, LaVerne Farrish, Lois Schneider, Inez Watson and Elizabeth Wolfe; and his brothers, June, John and Dallas Bartley.
Survivors include his daughter, Mary Ann Angelic of West Palm Beach, Florida; his sister Bonnie Carter of Laconia; and several loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, February 7, 2020, . Rev. Greg Carter will officiate. Burial will be in Union Chapel Cemetery near Laconia. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Thursday and after 8:00 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
