She was born Monday, December 28, 1936 in Cookeville, Tennessee to the late Clyde Cecil Alcorn and Flora Bell Qualls Alcorn.
Anna was a member of Pippin Church of Christ and loved the Lord with all her heart, soul, and mind. She worked at the Cookeville Shirt Factory, and was a Certified Nurse Aid at NHC Healthcare in Cookeville.
In addition to her parents, Anna Bell Scott was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Scott; grandson, James Kyle Scott; 3 sisters, Dorothy Burris, Joyce Argo, and Janice Allen.
She is survived by 3 children, James H. (Sherry) Scott of the Double Springs Community, Marvin E. (Lynne) Scott of Sparta, Tennessee, and Kim Scott of the Double Springs Community; 2 grandsons, Andrew Scott of the Double Springs Community and Paul (Misti) Scott of Sparta, Tennessee; 2 great grandchildren, Jocelyn and Mason Scott of Sparta, Tennessee; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Friday, February 7th, 2020 at Presley Funeral Home with Andrew Scott, Randy Bybee, and Ronald Strong officiating. Interment followed in Double Springs Cemetery.
