Wilson - Funeral Services for Mr. Bobby Mason Westmoreland, 79 of Ardmore are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Saturday, February 8, 2020 at the Alexander Gray Funeral Home Chapel in Wilson with Timmy Young officiating. Interment will follow to Leon Cemetery. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Wilson.

Bobby was born September 16, 1940 in Gainesville, TX to the late Mr. Mason Alexander Westmoreland and Mrs. Lillie Mae King. He departed from this life on Tuesday, February 4, 2020 at his home in Ardmore.

Bobby was raised in Love County and Bakersfield, CA. He attended school in Leon, Thackerville and Bakersfield East until he enlisted in the United States Army serving honorably. He married the former Carolyn Ann Nipp on March 22, 1967 in Gainesville, TX. Bobby worked welding Boilers for several different businesses over the years. He enjoyed building tanks, family time especially with his grandchildren and great grandchildren, a good drink of whiskey but most of all he really enjoyed visiting telling funny stories. Bobby was a member of the National Transit Boiler Markers Association.

Preceding him in death are his parents; brothers, Leonard, Cecil, Dutch, Burris and Kenneth; sister, Rowena and Alma Faye Stevens; granddaughter, Nicole Westmoreland; and by several nephews and nieces.

Bobby is survived by his loving wife, Carolyn of the home; daughters, Lou Ann Barras and husband Jody of Ardmore and Stacey Smith and husband Charles of Pryor; son, Kenneth Westmoreland and wife Leslie of Claremore; 10 grandchildren, Lindsei Dees, Macey Glenn and husband Josh, Sydney Mercer, Kaitlyn Hall and husband Trevor, Marina Sanders and husband Boomer, Dalton Mason, Mason Westmoreland, Tayten Smith, Kayli Smith and Hunter Smith; 12 great grandchildren, Aleeya, Trenton, Kavasa, Elias, Darcy, Troy, Tobias, Joslyn, Treyden, Emory, Harley and Tripp; and numerous other family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Junior Westmroeland, Brian Dees, Jamie Mercer, Timmy Nipp, Lynn Self and Mark Montegomery. Honorary bearers will be nephews, Steve Simpler and Danny Bradley.

Family visitation is scheduled for 6-8 P.M. Friday evening at the Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Wilson.
