Larry was born August 8, 1943, in Toronto, KS. He is the son of the late Charles Edwin and the late Doris (Reynard) Moss. He married Carol Cornelius on May 13, 1963 at Leavenworth, Kansas.
He served in the Army, during the Vietnam war from 06/23/1966 to 06/23/1969. He retired from AT&T after 32 years of service. Larry started the Northland Softball Association for Girls, of Lawson, MO in 1974. He helped form Meet the Need Organization, he was on the board, and volunteered many long hours. He was an active member of the Canaan Church of the Nazarene; he served as a Sunday school superintendent, and he helped in so many other ways.
He is survived by his wife: Carol (Cornelius) Moss; three daughters: Dana (Rodney) Holt of Excelsior Springs, MO, Laura (Bill) Anderson of Branson, MO, and Sherry (Chris) Shimel of Independence, MO. He also has four grandchildren: Curtis (Jessica) Holt, Katelyn (T.J.) Curry, Cole (Kelsey) Anderson, Cody Anderson; and 8 great grandchildren.
Larry was preceded in death by his daughter: Connie Dianne Moss; four sisters: Darlene (Dottie) Fernandez, Loeta (Whitie) Torrez, Marlyn Kramer, and Loretha Fern Dameron.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the ALS Association Mid-America Chapter, 6950 Squibb Rd, Mission, KS 66202.
