Services for Charlie Ransom Stanfill were Friday at Corinth Methodist Church in Decatur County with burial in the church cemetery.
Mr. Stanfill, 87, died Wednesday afternoon at his home in Saltillo. He was a retired farmer.
He leaves three daughters, Mrs. Jewel Hanna, Mrs. Mary Pitts, both of Saltillo and Mrs. Thelma Scott of Huntsville, AL; three sons, Opal and Guy of Decaturville and Clyde of Saltillo; two brothers, Ike of Wetumpka, OK, and Joe of Sardis; four sisters, Mrs. Mattie Coleman of Memphis, Mrs. Dora Willis of Sardis, Mrs. Nora Williams of Henderson, and Mrs. Emma Morris of Indiana; 15 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
