Oscar H. Roberts, 89, of Tifton passed away Tuesday, February 27, 2018, at his residence. His funeral service was held at 4:00 p.m. Friday, March 2, 2018, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Pat Suggs officiating. Mr. Roberts was laid to rest at Oak Ridge Cemetery.

Born January 9, 1929 in Irwin County, Mr. Roberts was the son of the late William Talley Roberts and Bessie Lou Young Roberts. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen Feagin Roberts, who passed away December 7, 2017; one son, Bobby Roberts; two brothers and two sisters. He retired from J. P. Stevens.

Mr. Roberts is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy W. and Edith Roberts of Enigma; four daughters and three sons-in-law, Karen and Junior Barnes of Enigma and Sandy and Shane Walker, Sharon Rowe and Linda and Robert Wheeler, all of Tifton; one sister, Bessie Lou Sumner of Tifton; thirteen grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.
Bowen Donaldson Home For Funerals was in charge of arrangements.
