Carl Harrell, 70, Germantown, retired real estate broker and owner of Carl Harrell & Associates, died Sunday at the Methodist Hospital of complications from surgery for a malignant brain tumor.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Memphis Funeral Home Poplar Chapel with burial in Corinth Methodist Church Cemetery in Scotts Hill, Tenn.
He was a member of the Germantown Baptist Church, Memphis Association of Realtors, Multi-Million Dollar Sales Club and a former Deans Milk distributor.
Mr. Harrell, the husband of Billie Jean Gilbert Harrell, also leaves three daughters, Gayle Warner of Atlanta, Susan Wamble of Eads and Heidi Johnson of Evans, GA; a son, Carl Harrell III of Olive Branch; his mother, Belle Creasy of Memphis; a brother, William L. Harrell of Scotts Hill; a step-brother, Charles Ray Creasy of Byhalia, MS; 10 grandchildren, four stepgrandchildren, four great-grandchildren and a step-great-grandchild.
