Robert A. Thatcher, 95, of Beecher, passed away Friday January 31, 2020 at Joliet Area Community Hospice in Joliet. He was born July 1, 1924 in Blue Island, the son of Andrew and Lola Thatcher. He is preceded in death by his wife Esther Thatcher, his parents, and a brother John Thatcher. Robert served in the US Navy during WWII and was a member of the VFW. Visitation will be Monday February 3, 2020 from 10am till the mass at 11am at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Peotone, IL. Burial will be at St. Benedict Cemetery in Crestwood.
