Wendy “Lou” [Kraft] Carter, 41, passed away in Tremonton, Utah on Monday, 23 December 2019.

Lou was born in Ogden, Utah on Tuesday, 24 January 1978, to Johnny B. Smith and Jalene Kraft. She was raised in Hooper, Utah, attended Roy High School and graduated from Fremont High.

On Saturday, 3 June 2000, Wendy married the love of her life, Brandon Dan Carter. They later made their home in Honeyville, Utah. Their marriage was blessed with three wonderful children, Mercedes, Hayden and Weston.

Wendy had excelled in her career as a clerical worker for trucking and manufacturing companies. However, when her health declined, she devoted all of her time to being the best stay-at-home Mom she could be.

Wendy loved spending time outdoors--especially going camping and hunting. She also enjoyed crafting and poetry and had an amazing love for animals. Her favorite pasttime and love was spending time with her husband and children.

“I love you more than you’ll ever know. - your loving husband, Brandon."

Left to cherish her memory are Wendy's husband, Brandon Dan Carter; children, Mercedes Hailey Carter, Hayden Leon Carter and Weston Lane Carter; father, Johnny B. (Jan) Smith; mother, Jalene (Craig) Kraft; two brothers, Brandon C. (Kelly) Smith and Lucas J. (Jessie) Smith; and her grandparents, Clifford and Lora Smith; along with many more family members.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, John J. Frew and Charlene Weaver.

Formal services and a Celebration of Life will be held in Spring 2020.
