Thomas Lorenz Miles, age 77, passed away on Saturday, February 01, 2020 at Evelyn's House.
He was born on November 14, 1942 in St. Louis, Missouri to the late Alex Miles and the late Gertrude Helen Miles.
He is the beloved husband of Lois Miles for 57 years. Loving father of A. (M.) Miles of Wentzville, Lisa (Daniel) of O'Fallon, and J. (J.) Miles of Dardenne Prairie. Cherished grandfather.
He was a dear brother, uncle, cousin and friend to many and will be missed by all who knew him.
Tom served in the Navy on the USS William R. Rush from 1961-1965. He retired from Boeing as an engineer after 45 years of service to enjoy life with his beautiful wife and best friend Lois. Tom loved and provided for his family passionately. Tom was truly a modern renaissance man who had talent and knowledge in many different fields including gardening, cooking, carpentry, running, music, art, literature, photography, sailing and much more.
Funeral service for Thomas, will be held 11 AM Friday, February 7, 2020 in the Chapel at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church of Dardenne will officiate funeral mass.
Burial will follow in the St. Philippine Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 4 pm to 8 pm on Thursday, February 6, 2020 at Hutchens-Stygar Funeral & Cremation Center (St. Charles).
